Taught by Lisa Limber at Noma Knits on Sunday, August 22nd from 1:00 to 4:00.
Come learn the special techniques needed to make this beautiful shawl:
You will learn the Tab Method for starting this piece, and the Cross 6 or Cross-Over stitch.
Materials: You will need size US 7 knitting needles and a fingering weight yarn. We have many lovely yarn choices for this project in the shop, such as, Alegria by Manos del Uruguay, Hedgehog, and Tosh Merino Light.
*Optionally, you can make the original Hipster Shawl, which is made in a worsted or DK weight yarn, on size US 8 or 9 knitting needles. We carry many yarn choices for this option as well.
We have samples knit up of both patterns at Noma Knits, if you would like to look at them and decide which version you would like to make.
Please purchase the pattern on Ravelry - The Lightweight Hipster Shawl or The Hipster Shawl, by Joji Locatelli and your supplies from Noma Knits.
This class is for intermediate knitters.
