Learn to knit two socks at the same time! This is an innovative, wonderful way to "knit to fit" and have both socks completely finished - no Second Sock Syndrome!
Students will learn to knit 2 socks at once using 2 circular needles.
Betty will also teach Judy's Magic Cast-On and German Short rows.
You will be creating sample socks (infant/toddler size) in class and may cast on your own socks with sock weight yarn.
Prerequisite: prior experience knitting socks strongly suggested.
Skills needed: knit, purl, yarn over (YO), slip stitch, bind off.
Materials- for sample set of infant socks: DK, light worsted (#3) yarn 300 yards (Gauge 6sts=1”)
Two US size 5 circular needles-24"and 30+" long
Needle Stoppers
Clip-on Stitch Markers
For your own socks: Sock yarn and needles to meet gauge. Usually size 1 or 2 for sock weight yarn.
