Crochet 101 - Intro to the World of Crochet
All are welcome in this absolute beginner's crochet class. This class will be taught on 3 consecutive Tuesdays - February 4th, 11th, and 18th from 3:30 to 5:00.
In the first session you will learn the foundations of crochet: how to make a slip knot, the chain stitch, and how to work into your chain using single crochet.
Then in the second class, we will continue with single crochet, turning your work, and half double crochet.
In the third session, we'll review half double crochet and move on to a full double crochet.
Between sessions you can go home and practice your new crochet skills:)
This class will be a judge free zone! We are here to try something new and have a good time:)
Materials: one skein of worsted weight yarn - we have lots of good choices for you in stock, and a 5mm crochet hook.
