In this welcoming introduction to knitting, you'll learn how to cast on, the knit stitch, bind off, and neatly weave in ends. This class is perfect for absolute beginners, as well as anyone who hasn’t knit in a while and would enjoy a refresher.
You’ll begin a simple scarf in class and leave with the skills and confidence to continue working on it at home.
After completing Class 1, we invite you to continue with Beginning Knitting – Class 2, where you’ll learn the purl stitch, how to join a new ball of yarn, and have the opportunity to ask questions that come up as you practice.
Supplies: Please purchase materials from Noma Knits prior to class. You will need chunky-weight yarn and corresponding sized knitting needles.
