The Brioche stitch has all the fluff and layers of the buttery bread with the same name that we all love!
In this 2-hour class you'll learn how to knit two-color brioche in-the-round. We will cover the brioche knit and the brioche purl while knitting the Cushiest Cowl pattern by Nancy Merchant. Even though we will use two colors, only one color is used at a time. Two-color brioche is easier to learn than one-color brioche because the color changes will help you see the stitches more clearly.
The Cushiest Cowl pattern is available on Ravelry or in the shop in the booklet Modern Daily Knitting Field Guide No. 21: Brioche.
Prior to the class, you are highly encouraged to choose your cowl size, cast on the corresponding number of stitches and knit the first round.

US 6 circular needle, 24” or 32” long depending on which cowl size you choose.
Yarn requirements:
27.75” circumference Cowl
(2) 200-yard skeins of worsted-weight yarn. One in a light color, one in a dark color.
55.5” circumference Cowl
(4) 200-yard skeins of worsted-weight yarn. Two in a light color, two in a dark color.
Class prerequisites: This is a beginner friendly class, but it is not a class that teaches you how to knit. You will need to know how to cast on and join to knit-in-the-round in addition to the standard knit and purl stitches.
