Knitting a hat is the perfect first project for new knitters who know to knit and purl. You’ll learn how to knit “in the round,” use DPNs (double pointed needles) and many other skills so you can knit hats for everyone you love this fall!
This class is 2 Wednesday evenings. In our first session we'll cast on, connect for knitting in the round, begin the ribbing portion on our hats, and discuss the homework. 2 weeks later, during the second session, we'll learn how to decrease, knit on DPNs, and finish our hats.
Materials: Worsted weight yarn, US6 and US8 16" circular needles, US8 DPNs, and a tapestry needle.
